British female voice over tops national awards

A voice actor from the Isle of Wight has won a prestigious national award.

Emma Topping was nominated from over 4000 entries in the One Voice Awards 2023, known as the industry’s leading awards for voice actors.

Since launching her company in December 2021, British female voice over Emma has voiced many commercials for TV and radio, along with corporate video narration for global clients including Netflix, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, FedEx and more. She also produces on-hold phone messages for businesses across the UK.

The “One Voice” award recognises her narration for e-learning courses for national company Navitas Safety.

The award was presented by Peter Dickson, the brand voice of The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, at a black-tie dinner attended by the industry’s leading voice artists. During the evening, actor, comedian and impressionist Jon Culshaw, was presented with the Voiceover Legend award.

Emma said:

I can’t thank the One Voice judges enough for this incredible recognition;
I’m hugely grateful to be rewarded in this way for doing a job that I really enjoy!
